Yay! Welcome back! It sort of looks like your mom is dressed up like a mummy for halloween! I am glad she is on the mend but looks like she has a ways to go. I am sure you are doing your best to help her heal!

Yeah, but only ONE of her four legs looks like a mummy….
HA! Maybe I should call her my “mummy” ….

After my knee surgery momma used to put ice on my knee and I always got yummy treats while she was doing it so be sure to give your momma treats when her leg is getting chilled because I think that helped me heal. I also spent almost 2 months in an ex-pen to keep me from getting bouncy so if your momma starts to get rambunctious you should get her an ex-pen too!

Wow. Humans are finally getting it. They need to be more like us than trying to make us like them. Mine had three legs for awhile when he got his knee replaced. I liked it the first couple days- you know getting into the trash, shoe chewing, and on, but it got boring when I found he couldn’t take me for walks, play, etc. The good news is humans get over it. Even that inferior species does have some good traits.

Welcome back, Behr Behr and mummy! I’ve missed your blog! I think you should get a little wagon that you could use to pull Mom around in so she wouldn’t have to hop so much! (Don’t know how that would work on the stairs, tho!). Take care of your Mom–she’s my only sister (it was a small litter by dog standards!)
Gosh, I’d be afraid to let Behr pull me in a wagon. As soon as she spots a squirrel or cat, I’m history (again). Gayle, you need to start blogs for your fur crew
