Wow! Very impressed! Can’t wait to hear more about your training! I have always thought Moose was not very sniffer inclined for a labradog so breed is clearly not everything. Your mom must be very proud!

Wow Behr! That is so cool! Darwin would probably fail at scent detection. One night this summer Jason was walking Darwin and heard a noise outside and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. We looked and looked and after about 5 minutes, we finally found it. A baby bird had fallen out of its nest. We were all standing right near it and Darwin didn’t detect it at all!

Honey the Great Dane

OOOH – HOW COOL IS THAT???!!! Congratulations Behr Behr! What an awesome thing to learn – and what an achievement to be the 1st Dane to do it (and show them all!). Am SO impressed! Yes, please, please do tell us more about this sport and the competition – what did you have to do?? I have heard of tracking but didn’t realise this is different.

Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane

Congratulations! I’m always so thrilled to hear about Danes competing in dog sports because they do get the reputation of being big dumb doggies sometimes. Savage fits that title it seems, but then again, I’ve never trained him for anything like that so I don’t really know.
What an amazing accomplishment! Can’t wait to hear more about the training!
