Hi There! I’m so glad you decided to drop by and visit! They call me Behr Behr, although my formal name is much prettier. I was born on October 26th, 2007. That means I’m currently almost 80 in dog years, but who’s counting? I still feel like a puppy inside 🙂

So this is my blog, where I share my unique view of things through a dog’s eyes. I think it’s important for people to know how we view things, you know?

So, grab your favorite stuffy toy or blankie and get comfortable and let’s go on a journey together exploring life with me as your tour guide. Let’s go!

And “hi” from Mom too 🙂  Behr tells you her (sometimes silly) view of her life and events, but leaves out the important things that dog parents might want to know.  Example: she would tell you her dog’s eye view of how she was poisoned or about the time she was paralyzed, but then “somehow” got better. I’m here to fill in the blanks for you.

The things we’ve done are things you can take to your own vet for consideration. Whatever you do, DON’T GIVE UP! 

I have spent my lifetime working in the medical profession, but what I’ve learned because of Behr Behr has humbled me. I used to think that any form of alternative medicine, food, or supplements were a joke and a waste of money. Surely any benefit was simply placebo effect.

To any former patients I’ve seen, I apologize.  I was wrong. My dog taught me otherwise. Dogs aren’t influenced by the placebo effect.

I used to pride myself on believing everything I did was “evidenced based”, and alternative medicine wasn’t.  It turns out that there is a TON of evidence that I had never read. Oops.

So I hope you find hope, encouragement, laughter (which IS good medicine!), and tips to help you have the longest possible time with your beloved pet companions possible on this little blog.
